THE EASTERN CAR COMPANY
Some of the postcards in this collection identify the Eastern Car Company as being in New Glasgow, but it was actually in Trenton. In 1912 the Nova Scotia Steel Company formed a new company called the Eastern Car Company. Located next door to the Nova Scotia Steel Company, the new plant manufactured railway cars and was purported to be the largest of it's kind in Canada.
